Our company, (state name of Company), was established in 1923 in Yokohama, Japan. It is known for making some equipment for digging a tunnel, such as Strait of Dover; making PC Case; and making shelves. 　To keep up with the demands of time, however, we believe we have to start something new. Thus, we decided to open an "on line ESL (English as a second language) school."

Please find below some useful info about our school operations for your guide.

1) Tuition - We will be charging the students around
200Yen/25min to 1600Yen/25min (school 7: teacher 3)
about 2USD-16USD/25min (this may be changed later)

2)For the number of students per class (means 25 minute-slot), you will teach only one student at a time.

3)How to contact students - We will be using SKYPE, mail, and our school website. (An orientation will be given to you on this.)

4) Teacher's payment - If you have a bank account in Japan, we pay to your account. If you don't have, we pay by PayPal by month end (when your payment is over 5000 yen then we pay, about 50 USD ).

5)How many hours a week should you teach? You can teach when you have time or no duty with your other engagement or works. (We plan to open the school on line from 9AM to 12 Midnight, Japanese time)

6)Level of students - We anticipate that most of students are beginners to intermediate for online school. We will be gathering a statistical date on this to inform you later.

7) Just to give you an idea - How to start the class ?

1st) You open your class on our system on website.

2nd)Students look at the website and find teachers from the teachers profile, or students search teachers from their schedule.

3rd)Each student write what they want to do in the class or what is the purpose for learning English.

4th)After the booking is done, student's Skype ID is sent to a teacher and a teacher's Skype id is likewise sent to a student

5th) The day before and 1 hour before the class, mails will be delivered to you for reminding. We will also remind you through the Skype chatbox of your incoming class.

8) As for your teacher's pay, we will initially evaluate to consider your expected rate. If you have never taught ESL on line, then we start to pay you from 200 yen/25 min for first few lessons, then we can adjust to close to your expectations as may be applicable and depending on your performance. (2USD/25min)

We may likely have a big number of students that pay 400 to 800 yen /25min; however, if you are native speaker of English we may pay you higher. (400Yen is about 4USD, 800Yen=8USD).

9) We expect from the teacher to do away with the traditional English conversation style in most Japanese high schools of reading the books and repeating after the teacher. This time, we expect the student to do the talking more than the teacher. The teacher is expected to share useful vocabulary for every lesson (25 minute-slot).

10) We also anticipate the following profile of our teachers and students to match with them:

-For a Japanese teacher - we will assign students who don't know anything about English or who want to take an achievement test.

-For Filipino teacher - we will assign students who want to talk a lot

-For a native speaker of English - we will assign students who really want to speak English, who want to know about abroad where the teacher lives, and who think learning English has to come from a native speaker of English.
